Lemmy, the sexual magnet

My friend André Kirkelis (Leo Burnett, S. Paulo) sent me an email with a recent interview given by Lemmy from Motorhead to Maxim magazine.

According to André the fact that Lemmy has made Maxim's Top 10 List of "Living Legends of Sex" revealling what makes him irresistible to women, is worthier than any "creative insight or semiotic deconstruction".

Ok André, let us read the interview and find out.

Intelligent apparel

Intelligent and functional apparel: The perfect combination between the fashion\sports industry and the IT industry.

After the lauching of the Adidas "Smart shoe" -- it's Nike's turn to launch with Apple a receiver/sensor sneaker combination that delivers real-time audible feedback to an iPod nano while the user exercises.

Time, distance, calories burned, and pace are stored on the iPod and displayed on its screen, as well as spoken through the headphones. Quite innovative!

Food for thought

"Ah, insights, everybody these days talks about insights. A consumer insight is like God - present everywhere but not seen, felt or easily understood. Verbatim judgments, linearly-observed consumer behaviour, or simply aphorisms for life are often passed off as insights. However, to get insights, you need deeper thinking. An insight is what connects the advertising idea to brand attributes via consumer life."

The mistake and the buzz

Guy Goma a graduate student from Congo went to BBC for an interview for a high level IT position.

Instead of a job interview, Guy Coma got himself a live interview with BBC News 24's Karen Bowerman, who by the way was supposed to be talking to Guy Kewney, a respected IT expert regarding Apple Computer vs. Apple Music.
